Marshall Said:Is home business 'Cruise to Cash' a worthy investment?
We Answered:I have my own home based business, not through this company, but I would like to answer to help YOU in this area. Don't listen to people saying it's a scam. There are a lot of people out their against a home based business for different reasons. Some because they didn't put the time and effort involved in building a business, so they failed (they would have failed in a traditional business to, exept they wouldn't be able to pass the blame onto something or someone else. So they quickly call it a scam to justify "why" they failed. Other's just say things are a scam because they "heard" it was based on what I just mentioned, when they were never really involved. Others will tell you it's a scam to show you what they are doing and offer their opportunity to you. Anyone saying a home based "business" is a scam, x out there opinion and views, because 99% are invalid answers. Any business that sales a real product or a service and has the opportunity to make money, is not a scam. Even if the amount is a dollar. You still made money. If you made 0 dollars then it's a scam. The amount of work you have to put into the dollar business is more then it's worth however. But you still make money.
If you haven't found anything negative about the company, then it's probably good. However, do NOT look into blogs where people post negative things on about different home based businesses. Most of these blogs are created by people who did not succeed because they didn't do what they were told they needed to do to succeed, so they failed. Then turn around claiming it's a fraud, or it's a scam, or this or that. Again, this is to justify why they didn't succeed and not telling the truth as to "why" they didn't succeed, but to just be able to pass the blame on so they can feel better about themselves. None of these resources on any business mounts to anything. Just gossip columns is what they've turned into making up rumors etc. So bottome line is do your own research and stay away from blogs that have negative impact on it.
I don't know what this company is really about, I didn't look it up, but Here's what you really need to research before making your decision on this home based business. It's pretty generic things to look into. I hope this helps you make your decision.
1. What is the compensation plan like? Are you satisfied with it?
2. What is the product and or service? Would you personally use the product and service? (this is important because if your not going to use it, why should you push it upon someone else?
3. Are they registered with the BBB. (Again, forget about complaints made, majority of them are the same people that come from blogs making false accusations about different companies.
Like the old saying goes, you lie about something, you have to keep lying to cover your tracks. Each lie gets bigger.
4. Do you know other people involved in this business?
5. Have they been listed in the Inc 500? Inc 500 rates the top 500 fastest growing companies in their first five years.
6. Have they been featured in different magazines?
7. Are the products in demand. Meaning Do people use them on an every day bases and wouldn't know what to do without it? Meaning, if the economy is tough, and it's a product or service they need, can they run to the store and purchase it on sale or is it something that they can't really do this with?
8. Is the service something that they may never really need or want?
Look into things like that.
When starting a business, their is no money at first. You have to build it up. No matter what business you get involved in. The more effort you put into it and how hard your willing to work it, will depend on when you start making a sufficient amount of income. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.
If you put the time and effort into it. You should succeed. The amount of time it takes and how much you want it, will depend on what it takes. Talk to people who are involved find out exactly what it is your going to be doing from point A to Z. Once you've found how how your going to market it, what's all involved, what they're telling you to do, what you have to do, and what you shouldn't do, you should be able to calculate what it will take you and how your going to do it to make yourself successful.
Most people start their business on the side if they don't have a cushion to live on while they build their business. This will allow you to build your business much quicker. But most people have full time jobs and run their business on the side. When their business reaches the income level they desire, they put their normal jobs down and continue with just their business with or without help. That part depends on you, no one else but YOU.
I hope this helps.
Nelson Said:Im a stay at home mom and I want to start a Home Business and earn some extra income. Any suggestions?
We Answered:Home based businesses are pretty simple to do. I have quite a few friends that have home based businesses and only work out of their home. I think the best one is in the telecommuniations industry with the largest direct selling Telecommunication service provider in the world. They are 15 years old with head quarters in Farmington Hills Michigan, Charlotte North Carolina, Amsterdam, Sydney and Montreal. They have been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated them the 22nd fastest growing company in revenue in it's first five years. They are registered with the BBB and FDSA as well.
They market in services people use every day and pay for anyway. Services like Local and Long Distance telephones, Internet, Digital, video phones, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Nextell, Altell etc as well. We save people money and make money at the same time. Every single month these people pay their bills, we make a percentage over and over again each month. Donald Trump has endorsed our company and uses the services as well.
How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services or products? . A lot of people right? You can save them money and make money.

There are so many different types of businesses you can do from home. You just have to find one that interests you most.
Here's a key factor to things you should look into when going to get involved in a business,
1. How long have they been in business? If it's under five years their is a huge risk factor. but it could be very well profitable for you if it all pans out.
2. Do they have a proven track record? Meaning are there people involved in the industry or a particular company that have succeeded? Don't pay attention to people who "failed" in their businesses, because businesses fail all the time. Look for people who have succeeded in whatever industry your looking into.
3. Do they have a physical address that you can go to? Meaning, not just a P.O. box, but a "real" address.
4. Do they have a training system? If your knew to an industry, do the companies that your partnering up with have training available to you, so you can learn the ins and outs?
5. Have they been in several magazines Such as Success,
Fortune, USA Today. Has Inc 500 rated them? Inc 500 takes the top 500 companies with the fastest growing revenues in their first five years in business. This can show you how well the company is growing.
6. Are they registered with the BBB? This one is not too important. You'll find all sorts of complaints from workers to representatives to consumers etc. You won't find anything posted from people with positive things. It's another blog. The only thing it's really usefull for is to show that the business is a real business and does exist. Every business owner knows what's said about companies in complaints to the BBB as well as blogs and reports are bogus. It DOES NOT constitute rather a business is legit or a scam. Even the postings. I can elaborate on that if you wish.
7. Meet the co-founders.
8. Who's involved in the business and do they use the products. Example Donald Trump has endorsed a business and he uses their products.
9. What's the compensation plan
10. What does the start up cost take care of? It should take care of your licesning, accounts payables, accounts receivables, Inventory, billings, customer service, rep services, workman's comp, employees etc etc.
You can't beleive advertisements or blogs A few things that you should take a look at before getting involved in any company. Im using what we looked for and the answers we've found to help guide you into checking if a business is real for you or not. Don't go to blogs because they don't distinguish if a business is legit, real or not. Blogs are places that negative people go to only to vent their flustrations on something that did not work for them. Usually these people are the ones who did not do what was needed to succeed in business because they didn't put the time or effort needed to succeed, or do what other's who "have" succeeded in that particular industry had advised them to do. They didn't follow the advice thoughrly *excuse the spelling, spell check isn't working for some reason* Anyhow, these blogs people go and post all these negative things that are usually 80 false accusations. They can't fess up to the fact of the real reason why they failed in business. Instead of standing up and admitting to what they really did or did not do, they try and pass the buck onto someone or something else to try and justify their failure. Basically to make them feel better and luer people away from what could of been a big time opportunity for them to do something with their lives. That's what blogs are basically about. So when searching for a business for yourself, look for yourself, not anyone else's. Talk to the people who are involved in the company "now" not then. The ones involved then and not now are failures that are only going to give you negative feed back and take it away from you. Which isn't right. You need to be a leader not a follower. If your a follower of negative impact, your going to fail! That's not what you want to do. Businesses take time to build. The average time to build a business is anywhere from 2 to 5 years. Depending on how much work and effort you put into it. Most people quit under 3, because they gave up on what they could of had because the income wasn't what they wanted it to be. Instead of working their business and acheive what they wanted in whatever time frame it took, they throw there hands up in the air and quit, or get too much negative feed back from others just out to destroy their dream, then they quit and turn around and go along with what everyone else says and call it a scam or a fake or whatever. Don't let these people pull you into their lifestyle. They're unhappy people who didn't have what it took to succeed, not did they take the time and real effort into "building" a business.
Barry Said:Looking to do a home business with Passport to Wealth.?
We Answered:First off, don't listen to what other people say about things being a scam. Because most things that people call scams are really not a scam.
A friend of mine created a blog on her yahoo page on Home based Business opportunities. It's geared up for people looking for home based business opportunities, so there is over half a dozen different industries on there that you'll find. But why I'm sending you the link is because there is also a lot of information that you should read about scams and what to look for. Information on why people call things a scam, when in majority of the cases they're not. Also information on businesses and the BBB, blogs, reports and many other things you should read and learn. Things that will help you decide if this is a legitament company. From what the web site that a previous poster gave (you need to see if this is an up to date one as well) it isn't a scam. He's calling it a scam but can't prove that it's a scam. Do you know people involved in this company? If you do, you need to contact them and find out more about this company from them and not by people who have never been involved in this business, or were once before and not now. The reason why on this is on my friend's blog. It's not too long, just some issues that people need to know about and be educated on The URL is:

Bessie Said:Where can I find a work at home job that I don't have to pay for or start my own business for?
We Answered:Gravy and Diva I agree with. You will not make a sufficient amount of money with a home job. Your only going to get minimum wage earnings. After taxes are taken out, your looking at below minimum wage. Not a sufficient amount of income at all! Not only that, but with the gas prices the way they're going, and the economy, it's forcing many different people into searching for things to do at home. Making home jobs in high demand. Finding a home job that has an opening is going to be next to the impossible. Here's a link you can check out and apply for a home job in a call center. I don't know if you will receive the job, I have no control over that, but you can see if they have an opening and apply.
I know you said you don't want to start a business or get into direct selling, but that's pretty much the only opportunity you have in making a sufficient amount of income working from home. Everything else is the bottom of the barrel income earnings. Low pay and you won't get anywhere in life with it.

So you have to ask yourself this question, do you want just a job that won't get you anywhere, living from paycheck to paycheck, or do you want the opportunity to make something of yourself and have the life you want? The choice is yours.
Doris Said:What a good home business I can start for someone who has a background in Computer?
We Answered:You certainly can make good money from blogging. As a matter of fact, there is a rising class of individuals who call themselves 'professional bloggers' and literally quit their day jobs to blog. It's not easy though. Blogging for many requires a lot of hard work and dedication. You have to learn the market. You have to learn how to optimize your blog for search engines and social media sharing websites. I listed two resources below for learning how to make money blogging. It's of course important to count the cost first. Ask yourself if you are willing to spend at least 35 hours per week on your blogs to get them started. And after that, you are looking at at least 20 hours per week to maintain them and keep up with the competition.
There are several different ones in different industries to take a look at and see which ones you think you'd be interested in.
It is rather very good, nevertheless glance at the data with this handle.
